Caterpillar signs contract with Panama
The company Caterpillar, which manufactures heavy machinery for
construction, will install its Latin American head office in
Panama, with an investment of 25 million dollars and a projection
to generate incomes and employment for around 300 persons, informed
the Presidency.
The president, Martin Torrijos, participated yesterday of the
signature of the contract in which the State sales to Caterpillar
100 hectares of land in the Special Economic Area Panama Pacifico
(AAEEPP), in which this company will install, at the shores of the
interoceanic Canal.
