Transportation and Infrastructure

Site Infrastructure

Site infrastructure is operational and will support development for the first 5-7 years of the redevelopment. Current infrastructure includes:

  • Electricity
  • Water
  • Wastewater
  • Telecommunications

Onsite Roads

Bruja Boulevard (also called Andrews Boulevard) is the main thoroughfare from north to south on the site.  Bruja is four lanes through the airport and administration office areas, with two lanes travelling each direction.

Future planned improvements

  • A new road on the west side of the project will be built in the next two years to provide access to the future logistics and high tech parks.
  • A number of internal roadways will be built for easy access to all internal areas.
  • Bruja / Andrews Boulevard will be upgraded.
  • New junctions will be constructed on East Veracruz Road.

Transportation

Public bus stops current exist:

  • At the north and south site entrances, and
  • Onsite along Bruja Boulevard

A comprehensive internal bus system is planned in the future to allow easy pedestrian access throughout the community.
